Savoy Mondays
February, Savoy Mondays is featuring Joshua Mclean and Ana Lisa Sutherland! 
Ana Lisa Sutherland and Joshua Mclean have one phrase for you: HELLA🏽BLACK🏾LINDY🏿HOP!
Remember it well, because for February’s classes they will be focusing on the contributions and lives of two of the most influential African American Lindyhoppers and Jazz Performers: Norma Miller and Frankie Manning.
Ana Lisa and Josh are looking forward to share with you some of the astonishing anecdotes, cool choreography, and damn good dancing that Frankie and Norma have graced the original and contemporary Lindy Hop communities with. We believe that learning about them is an essential part to learning Lindy Hop, and getting a little closer to that “Hella Black” spirit.

Membership Appreciate Month
Each Monday in February will also feature special themes and treats for our social dances for Membership Appreciation Month! Here's the schedule breakdown:
February 5th: Animals & Monsters - come dressed as your best creature
February 12th: 70s night - bring out your inner disco
February 19th: Invaders from Mars - be your best alien self
February 26th: Night at the Savoy - chat about the past and present of SSC (feedback appreciated) and get free pizza + wear what you feel most comfortable in

Social Dancing at Aegis Living
Savoy Swing Club is bringing social dancing to our Seniors! On Monday, February 19th, SSC will hold a 30 minute social dance at Aegis of Queen Anne at Rodgers Park from 6:15 - 6:45pm. After the dance, folks will carpool over to the Clubhouse for Savoy Mondays classes. Check out the Facebook event here!
Blues Underground
For a slower tone, go to Blues Underground, a once a month blues social dance!
Blues Underground is also starting a DJ Amateur Class! Happening Sunday February 18th, join Jo Ann Cocker and Emily Smith will be running the class with a drop-in DJ lesson before the dance. The class is limited to 20 people and is $15.00. Students will also get to DJ the first set of the night! Follow the Facebook event for more details.
Tuesday Night: Dance Underground
Join your fellow lindy hoppers for weekly practice! Savoy Swing Club provides a two hour practice space every Tuesday evening at Dance Underground for all! Starting 8:30pm, SSC members can attend for free while non-SSC members pay only $5.00! To find out more, join our Facebook group!

Camp Jitterbug
Camp Jitterbug registration is open! Don't miss out on the biggest Lindy hop event in Seattle! Happening May 25th-28th, this event features a full weekend of workshops, competitions, and social dancing!

Blues Underground & Brenda Russell
March 3-4, Blues Underground is having a workshop featuring Brenda Russell! Brenda will focus on developing your dancer bodies through specific movements and exercises. Follow the Facebook event for more details.
Seattle Lindy Extravaganza

Community Events
Sunday & Wednesday Night: Century Ballroom
The Century Ballroom holds weekly nights of swing dancing on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays! Check their calendar for details on DJs, lessons, and special events!
This month, Century is hosting a LGBTQ dance featuring Salsa, Swing, Country, Waltz, Tango, Disco, and West Coast Swing. Happening February 16th, from 8:30 - 11:30pm, this event is 21+ and costs $10.00. Purchase tickets at the door and join the Facebook event here.
Monday Night: Balboa, Blues & Booze
“Balboa, Blues & Booze” is a once-a-month social dance, happening every 1st Monday, at Seattle’s historic Smith Tower (35th Floor Temperance Bar) with a focus on Balboa dance and Slow Drag Blues dance. And booze, of course. Buy your tickets in advance here!
Thursday Night: Hepcat Productions
Hepcat Productions takes place once a week, every Thursday, at the Russian Community Center from 9:00pm - 12:00am. The best part? The weekly dance is free when you enroll in Hepcat Productions weekly classes, or $5 for the dance alone!

Friday Night: Eastside Stomp
Eastside Stomp is Seattle's only venue with consistently live music! It's only $12.00 including a beginner lesson with dancing until 1:00am!
Eastside Stomp also offers weekly classes you won't want to miss. Stay on the lookout for featured musicians and classes in December on their Facebook page.
Saturday Night: Revival Rhythm
Revival Rhythm is a Lindy hop and Blues social dance that happens once a month at Salsa Con Todo. Find more information here for all things Revival Rhythm.
The February dance will take place on February 10th from 8:00pm - 12:00am.
