The thriving Seattle Swing dance community is run by dancers and jazz enthusiasts who contribute time, skills and ideas to making our community stronger.
A few common ways that one can volunteer:
- We offer free admission at Savoy Monday’s or Blues Underground in exchange for helping us staff the door. You must contact the venue coordinator ahead of time!
- Volunteer at weekend events to do things like running sound, moving equipment, setup and break down, or being an instructor liaison in exchange for free or reduced cost admission.
- Volunteer your dancing to a a team to help inspire new dancers by doing performances, etc. It will improve your dancing too!
- Join various committees responsible for putting on events like Killer Diller Weekend and Seattle Lindy Exchange.
- Join the SSC Board and help make decisions about how Savoy Swing Clubs programs are run.
