January 4* Swing in the New Year! A class in basic swing and partner dance for the total beginner. In this class we'll discover 6 count swing and Charleston together, and some basic partnering skills that'll get you ready to start dancing in 2010. Shine Steps! We'll talk about how to make your partner looks great with new rhythms and open ended counts

*Please note that the January 4th Beginner class is the last beginner level drop in class.

Starting January 11th and continuing for the forseeable future, Beginner classes will be a series and cannot be taken al a cart.

January 11 Together we'll learn an 8 count Swing out Balboa Basics and Spike Turns
January 18 Review, Lindy Circle, Charleston and Back out, Basic connection excercises Balboa Part 2, more turns and pure Balboa rhythms
January 25 Review, Adding vocabulary to your basics to 8 count lindy and Charleston How to Swing out uptempo and moves that work when going faster!
February 1 Review, Teach Tuck Turn, 6 Ct Pass, and a couple of classic moves, twist around, rhythm circle, etc Footwork variations for Lindy Hop
February 8 Into and out of basic Tandem Pancake Charleston Variations
